Madden 10 Battles Permit You Crunch Your Rival’s Bones, Bruise His Ego, and Empty His Bank Account

PS3 Madden 10's pulse-pounding, hard-rocking soundtrack is another element that gives the game an added kick. The past few years have seen the soundtracks becoming an integral facet of the games, and Madden is leading the pack. As a departure from other games, Madden 10 has decided to throw in some classics as well as current hits - and it will rock you. Get a load of these songs, and tell me you're not sold on the PS3 Madden 10 soundtrack: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Yeah, it may be a little much to rave about a current day game at the expense of the earliest football video games. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. It makes sense that at the beginning of the video game console revolution, there was a huge demand for football video games. Trouble was, the video game consoles' abilities weren't as fully realized as gamers' football fantasies, so hardcore gamers had to make do with what was there. To try to generate excitement, the creators of this one insisted it featured "all the excitement" of actual football. With an open path to the end zone, this is what the number one console in the day scored a touchdown with. The football players look like blocky little robots. Let's get that out of the way. As crude-looking as that picture is, it's even worse when you see the game in action. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. No scrolling screen, either. Not long afterwards, the main competition developed a more advanced football video game for their console. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. Better, but not great.

That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever.

It's certainly easy to see why that one was a hit - the gameplay was far more sophisticated, incorporating actual offensive and defensive strategies. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. It's even got a presence in the gaming world today, thanks to its online comeback. But even that one can't compete with PS3 Madden 10. Once you've viewed all the other games, have a gander at PS3 Madden 10. We've come a long way, and you, along with football video games, have been the largest beneficiary. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. You get it. The older football video games served a purpose, and set the stage for bigger, better sports video games. PS3 Madden 10 is in a whole different stratosphere than its predecessors, and for that, hardcore gamers have every reason to be stoked. Better yet, the reviewers share the same level of PS3 Madden 10 love as the fans, always a good thing. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt?

There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Sure, we love all PlayStation sports video games, but PS3 Madden 10 stands at the top, as one of the best. In the video game world, PS3 football games begin and end with Madden. And it's where they separate the men from the boys, by letting you duke it out for some serious cash. PlayStation Madden 10 maniacs have the opportunity to challenge each other for some serious cash. The victory - and your opponent's cash - will be in your hands, once you know the score in PS3 Madden 10.
